Glow-Boosting Apple Carrot Juice Recipe
Over the holidays, I overindulged.
No, really – I did.
I ate too many treats, over-filled my plates with stuffing and mash potatoes (my favourites *drool emoji*), and enjoyed a few too many glasses of wine.
It was a fun couple of days, but by the end of it – I was feeling pretty much like a food-zombie.
Always by New Years, I am ready to get back to my normal healthy eating.
I have maintained a pretty healthy lifestyle since I was a teenager, so days of decadent eating really does affect my mood, my energy, and my skin.
I was (and honestly, still am a bit) feeling sluggish and whenever I feel sluggish, I get juicing.
We got our juicer a few years ago, and since then it’s been one of those items that we pull out time and time again when we feel we need a healthy boost.
And really, is there any time you feel like you need a healthy boost more than after an overly decadent holiday?
I mentioned this earlier, but one thing that really takes a hit when I am eating unhealthy is my skin. I find an unhealthy diet really makes my skin blemish-prone as well as somewhat dull looking.
Since my skin has been feeling particularly lackluster these last few days, I decided to bring out the big guns, also known as, our juicer, and make this Glow Boosting Apple Carrot Juice Recipe.
Both apples and carrots are rich in Vitamin A, a vitamin which is actually known for helping maintain and encourage healthy skin.
Vitamin A also helps boost collagen levels in the body and apparently even helps get rid of acne. It’s kind of a miracle worker, eh?
They also both contain another super-vitamin, Vitamin C. Vitamin C has a ton of healing properties which help you get over colds (or, prevent them), it helps your body heal faster, and it reduces inflammation.
To this day, I take vitamin C whenever I am feeling a bit under the weather to get back to feeling healthy again fast!
This Glow-Boosting Apple Carrot Juice Recipe doesn’t stop there, it also contains oranges in it!
Oranges contain a high amount of Vitamin C which, as mentioned earlier, help fight free radicals to prevent your skin from aging, and assists in collagen production.
Overall, this is a great health juice that gives you a ton of amazing vitamins fast so that you, your energy, your skin, and overall health get that much-needed post-holiday boost (or whenever, really)
And, did I mention it tastes great?
This health-packed Glow-Boosting Apple Carrot Juice Recipe tastes seriously delicious so if you’re thinking of making a juice for your kids, family, or friends – they’ll absolutely love this.

Glow Boosting Apple Carrot Juice Recipe
Looking for a delicious and healthy juice recipe to get your health back on track? This Glow-Boosting Apple Carrot Juice Recipe is perfect for getting a surge of health back into your diet.
Ingredients
- 2 large carrots
- 2-3 Granny Smith apples
- 2 oranges
- Optional: You can also add a thumb of ginger and/or a lemon(great if you're feeling under the weather)
Instructions
- Cut the top of the carrot off (where the green leaves are, or where the harder root-edge is)
- Cut apples into quarters. Be sure to remove the seeds as they contain arsenic and can be dangerous if consumed.
- Cut oranges in quarters. I leave the skin on as it contains so many vitamins but that is completely optional.
- Begin adding carrots into the juicer. You may notice your juicing container is too small to juice all the ingredients into. In this case, you'll need a secondary container to pour your juice into as you go.
- Now, add your oranges.
- Lastly, add your apples.
- Mix all the juices together.
- Enjoy!
