Lemon, Mint & Cucumber Detox Water

This is a really tasty and refreshing drink, which not only hydrates you and improves your digestion, but also offers many wonderful detoxing benefits. I like to drink this first thing in the morning to kick start my day.

Ingredients:
Lemon, Mint & Cucumber Detox Water
  • 3 litres water
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 2 lemons, sliced
  • 10 - 12 mint leaves

Lemon water in the morning is a great way to get a good portion of your essential daily vitamin C.

Tips & Alternatives
Chilled water can be a bit of a shock to your digestive system, especially if you are drinking it first thing in the morning. A good tip for this drink is once it has steeped overnight in the fridge, pour it into a glass or bottle and wait until it reaches room temperature before drinking it, or add a little hot water.

How to make Lemon, Mint & Cucumber Detox Water:
  1. Add all ingredients to a large jug.
  2. Allow to steep overnight in the fridge to release all the flavours.
